Alena used the weekly “The Ottawa Times” for 1965-Augand “The Ottawa Herald” (published Mon-Sat) for August 25, 2000-2003. In 2003-2004 Alena Loyd retyped the existing Ottawa Annals for 1864-1964 and created new annals for 1965-2003 using microfilmed copies of “The Ottawa Times” and “The Ottawa Herald.” While going through the papers for 1965-2003 she also abstracted the obituaries.
